Message	Is there any difference in the performance? I currently have a 91tt 5 speed, I was considering in having the turbos rebuilt. Should I be able to bolt thos onto the JDM motor? :To my understanding, there is no difference between the turbos from Japan and those from US engines; however, as you came across, there is a difference between turbo sizes in manual vs. automatic tranny engines. The majority of JDM engines seem to come over with auto turbos.
